The new generation Mercurial Vapor XIII football boots build on the 360 innovation of the previous model but feature an enhanced fit, responsiveness when on the pitch and even lighter feel on the foot. The Flyknit upper on these Mercurials has been constructed from a high-tenacity yarn, the same as the yarn used for Nike's Flyknit Racer running shoes making these boots lighter and stronger. The soft upper reduces break-in time out of the box as the yarn wraps around the foot for a true fit. The 3D micro texture in the upper offers an increased feel on the ball and minimises distractions between the ball and the bot while travelling at high speeds. To enable consistent levels of feel and touch in dry and wet weather conditions a coating of All Conditions Control (ACC) has been applied to the NIKESKIN.

The low-profile cut of the collar sits just underneath the ankle taking away all distractions for a traditional boot feel. For further comfort around the foot the perforations around the heel have been redesigned for increased lockdown and comfort while the internal lining that wraps around your foot has been perforated to provide breathability like no other Mercurial.The lightweight forefoot plate features a Nike Aerow Trac zone with micro grooves delivering more snap in the plate for better responsiveness off the mark. Angular chevron shaped studs combined with a stiffer internal chassis guarantee explosive acceleration and traction on firm natural surfaces.

These boots have been named Nike's Mercurial Dream Speed. The Nike Mercurial Elite Dream Speed boots are part of a special Mercurial-only pack. Like Nike's Mercurial LVL UP pack these boots are set to be worn by Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe. The Dream Speed boast a unique look in a Blue Void Metallic Silver, Black and White colourway. They come with a bold '001' print on the outside of the right heel whilst target symbols and circular dots can be found on the upper. The insoles feature the branding 'MDS001' whilst the outside left heel features 'MDS' which is a clue to the name of this pack.
